Nothing less than two wins in the opening weekend of the CSA One Day Challenge will be enough for the North West Dragons, who have had a mixed season with more failures than success as they bid to stay in division 1.
The Dragons return to the white ball format, after the CSA 4 -day season hits the pause button until February.

The North West Dragons face the Warriors on Friday, 2 December at the J.B. Marks Oval at 13:00 in the opening match of the competition.
They then face the Knights from Bloemfontein only two days later on Sunday, 4 December at 10:00.

The opening day-night fixture against an in-form Warriors side promises to be an exciting encounter with top talent in both teams.
The Dragons will look to the hitting power of Wesley Marshall, guile of Senuran Muthusamy and all-round contribution of Delano Potgieter. Pacer, Renaldo Meyer, has also impressed for North West tis season and he will want to continue his form.

The Warriors come loaded with a powerful batting line-up consisting of Wihan Lubbe, Matthew Breetzke as well as the sensational Jordan Hermann, who has been a revelation with the bat.
On the bowling front, Marco Jansen and Beyers Swanepoel will also want to continue the good form they displayed in the four-day game.
The Dragons have failed to deliver in the CSA 4-day challenge and will need to shake off the past and focus on the one-day format in December in a loaded schedule. The Dragons play four matches at home and they will want to win every one of them in order to stand a chance of reaching the final.
A good performance will also help to gain points in the promotion/relegation battle. Their survival will definitely depend on their performance in this one-day format.
The final will take place on Thursday, 29 December between the first and second placed teams on the log at the end of the round-robin stage.
Tickets for this weekends matches are R 50 for adults and R 30 for kids, students and pensioners.
