North West Cricket once again put their hand up as one of the top performing unions in the country when it comes to growth and development.
This was highlighted during the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Pathway Awards this past Friday, 7 July in Midrand.
The following North West Cricket players and officials were awarded for their top efforts in the 22/23 season.
Nation Ntlame won the KFC Mini-Cricket co-ordinator of the year award, whilst Deidre van Rensburg won the u.16 girls Player of the Tournament award.
Bathabile Masigo (Die Wilge High School) also won the LSEN player of the year award.
JP King won CSA Student Player of the Year, whilst North West Cricket also won the CSA Fairplay award overall.
“The CSA Pathway Awards aim to acknowledge outstanding performances, sportsmanship, exemplary coaching, grassroots development, and overall contributions to the game,” commented CSA Head of Cricket of Pathways, Edward Khoza.
“This provides an opportunity to recognize exceptional individuals and entities in our age groups, ancillary members and all those who inspire a healthy pathway. Through these awards, CSA seeks to inspire others to continue striving for excellence in cricket,” said Khoza.
