The North-West Platinum Inter-high hosted at the NWU McArthur Athletics Stadium was once again a highlight for all the schools involved. From the stands to the track, the schools battled each other to see who would come on top.
In the end, Hoërskool Wolmaransstad came out on top once again claiming the title with 1240 points. Wagpos took second and Fochville third. Ferdinand Postma was the best performing Potch school taking fifth place on 489 points.
Ferdies’ top achievers were Chanté Hook (u15) and Roland Lubinda (u17) who broke the discus and long jump records, respectively. Ferdies’ boys u17 relay teams also broke the meeting record.
Ferdies achieved 29 podium places overall, which includes 9 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze medals.
