Saints Christian School’s u19 cricket girls will have an opportunity to reach further glory in club cricket when they take on Wanderers Cricket Club in the Regional Women’s Premier League final at the Witrand Oval on Saturday, March 21.
Saints have had a stellar year, reaching the Schools SA20 final and winning the Women’s Premier League 50 over and 20 over competitions. What makes this achievement even more memorable is that they faced off against semi-professional cricketers in club cricket, who are much more experienced.

What Saints lack in experience or age, they certainly make up for with hard work, perseverance, passion and burning ambition.
Saints comfortably qualified for the Regional final after comprehensively beating Potch Dorp Women by 82 runs to win the NW T20 title.
The stars during that final was Siphokazi Duma who scored 44 (36 balls) and also took 2/15 with the ball. Gogontle Padi (2/8) from four overs and Reabetswe Dithipe (2/23) from four overs also created havoc with ball in hand as Potch Dorp were bowled out for only 77.
The match against Wanderers will take place at 11:00.
