Gizelle Stewart, from the Warnadoone Ski Boat Club, said that the conditions during the weekend made for wet and wild launches. The event marks the club’s biggest deep sea angling competition of the year. This year’s overall winners were Umdloti SkiBoat Club’s Team B.

Young angler, Max De Robilard, 9, was the top angler of the competition with a total score of more than 317, while second place trailed at 265.
