Tenant stabs landlord in violent dispute

During a violent altercation between a landlord and her tenant, the landlord was stabbed in her face and rushed to hospital.

A DISPUTE between a landlord and her tenant led to a stabbing after the tenant allegedly stabbed her in the face with a knife. The incident happened on Wednesday (December 11). It is still unclear what triggered the argument.

According to PT Alarms, a dispute between a landlord and tenant turned violent and bloody when the tenant acted out and stabbed the landlord in her chin.

PT Alarms spokesperson Dhevan Govindasamy said in a statement, their tactical unit south and the armed response team responded to the incident after receiving a call for assistance.

“It is believed the female tenant was arguing with the landlord and stabbed her in the lower chin. Various security companies and RCW Nickhil responded to the scene. The victim was treated for injuries by paramedics at the scene,” said Govindasamy in a statement.

Govindasamy said the suspect was apprehended and handed over to the police.
