Schools rugby results: Grey edge Affies, Pretoria Boys pip St Stithians

There was again plenty of exciting schoolboy rugby action on the sports fields across South Africa this last weekend.

In one of the big traditional derbies, Grey College edged Affies in a close match in Bloemfontein, while at the Sharks Rugby Day at Hilton, the hosts beat Glenwood and Westville won a nail-biter against Maritzburg College

In the Eastern Cape, Queen’s were too good for St Andrew’s, while in the Western Cape there were wins for Stellenberg, Rondebosch, Paul Roos, and Paarl Boys High.

Up north, Pretoria Boys High got the better of St Stithians, KES won away at Noordheuwel, and Jeppe hammered St John’s. Also, Waterkloof beat Menlopark, and Middelburg won against the town’s HTS.
