Are Ndoro and Ramagalela on their way out of Highlands Park?
Highlands Park coach Owen Da Gama suggested that Ndoro and Ramagalela might have not lived up to their full potential since joining the club.

Tendai Ndoro and Rodney “Rama G” Ramagalela have made 14 Absa Premiership appearances this season between themselves and have only contributed three league goals combined – a return that is not expected from the seasoned duo.

Highlands Park coach Owen Da Gama suggested that Ndoro and Ramagalela might have not lived up to their full potential since joining the club and could end up making way for what Da Gama described as a “potent striker”.
“When you sign players, there are players who will come through and there are players who won’t come through and there are players who might never come through, it happens all over the world. There are certainly one or two signings that have not come through for us,” said Da Gama.
“Rodney has been injured and a month ago he lost his daughter, it really hit him very hard. Before that, he was out for a month with injury and when he arrived here, he had not played for six months at Polokwane City. And then he arrived and had a bad thigh injury and he lost his mother [recently]. Tendai has also been unfortunate, he has been ill and he also had some challenges off the field but we are hopeful that we can keep supporting them,” he added.
With the upcoming January transfer window, the Lions of the North could dive into the market to look for that particular striker that Da Gama believes will take the team to another level.
“We have got to sit down with the technical team first and then we meet with the management and see. I definitely believe – just to help Peter Shalulile a bit – we need a potent striker. If we can get a potent striker we’ll be able to go to another level.
“It (scoring) is a big problem in South Africa. You’ve got the Lennox Mutizwas who are scoring, Mohammed Anas is scoring. It is very tough for players in the PSL to score goals. The PSL standards are too high, we need to have a striker creating three chances and scoring one.
“I always believe that there is always a player out there, there is always a striker out there. We just have to work hard and see how we can help while we try to fix up the other players and get their confidence back and take them to another level but we are running out of time.”
