Former Orlando Pirates striker and Malawi international Chiukepo Msowoya has adviced his Malawian national team teammate Gabadinho Mhango to remain grounded and focus at the job at hand having joined Pirates.

Msowoya played for the Buccaneers 2010 to 2012, but failed to hit the mark.

“He told me a lot about the challenges because we are still playing together at the national team. I have been in football for about seven to nine years, but I have experience. There are lots of challenges in football, but most of the time it is important to have challenges in football,” said Mhango.

“He just told me to behave and check the kind of a team I play for. So, I must focus on what I will be doing on the pitch.”

Mhango will be hoping to make his debut for the Buccaneers when they host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
