Pirates to prepare thoroughly for Eagles 

The Buccaneers lost 1-0 away from home to Eagles, the Bucs coach has promised to prepare his team well in order to advance to the next round of the competition.


Orlando Pirates coach Micho Sredojevic is looking at upsetting Green Eagles when the sides meet in the second leg of the Caf Champions League preliminary round in two weeks at the Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers lost 1-0 away from home to Eagles, the Bucs coach has promised to prepare his team well in order to advance to the next round of the competition.

“It’s back to the drawing board for us, congratulations to our opponents for winning. They really fought hard, football didn’t reward us (Pirates), it was harsh to us. We believe that we deserved more from this game than losing. We shall analyse the game, prepare ourselves well for in two weeks time force our brothers Green Eagles at Orlando Stadium with the intention that we score more than two goals to progress to the second round,” said the Bucs coach.

Prior to the Eagles match,  Bucs have domestic league meeting with SuperSport United at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday.

They will then meet Highlands Park in the MTN8 quarterfinals this coming weekend.
