Chiefs coach excited by ‘interesting’ Blom
A day after young Njabulo Blom was promoted to the first team, Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp described the youngster as a 'very interesting player'.

Middendorp praised Blom for his versatility as the 19-year-old can play in midfield and in defence.
“He could come handy in the holding midfield role. It is nice for a coach to have such a versatile player in the squad. He is a very interesting player with a good profile,” Middendorp told the club’s website.
Blom was also part of South African U20 squad which qualified for next year’s Fifa U20 World Cup.
“And, if selected for the upcoming U20 World Cup, Njabulo will also pick up immense experience from playing against countries like Argentina.”
The 19-year-old was promoted from Amakhosi’s Multi Choice Disk Challenge team.
