According to Weekend Post in Botswana, Dambe is engaged in talks with Chippa about a possible move next season.
The newspaper further reported that it was goalkeeper Patrick who recommended Dambe to Chippa.
“The 29-year old former Rollers’ tried and tested goal keeper is said to be close to agreeing a deal that will land him a lucrative salary annually. The Chilli Boys as they are known turned their interest to Dambe knowing that he will bring the necessary competition to the current number one keeper of the team with Tingnyemb himself nearing retirement. Chippa United lost their trusted keeper (Daniel Akpeyi) to Kaizer Chiefs last season,” read the article in the Weekend Post.
