Former Chiefs striker stops trial to bury his father

Former Kaizer Chiefs Michelle Katsvairo has returned to Zimbabwe to attend his father’s funeral a few days after having started training with Real Kings.

Katsvairo joined the National First Division side for training last week with the hopes of signing a contract.

The Zimbabwean is said to have made an impression on the Kings technical team and could sign when he comes back.

“He is not with us at the moment. Unfortunately, his father passed away and he had to go back home so that they could arrange for the funeral,” Kings media officer Tom Dlamini told Phakaaathi.

“He left this week as soon as he was informed, we are not sure when he will be back. But the coach said he can go and attend the funeral and come back to train. The coach is happy with the progress he has made and that’s why he wants him to come back and train after the funeral,” added Dlamini.
