Unhappy Mhango can’t wait to leave Pirates

A deal in Sweden is said to be the next chapter of the striker's career.

Orlando Pirates striker Gabadinho Mhango is said to be counting months to his exit at the club.

He has apparently been promised a contract by an overseas club, a source has claimed.

Mhango has not been getting game time at Pirates after an alleged fallout with the technical team.

It has also been reported that Mhango’s behaviour at the club is the reason why he has not played since returning from the Caf Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

A deal in Sweden is said to be the next chapter of the striker’s career and he can’t wait to revive his career.

“What has happened with Gaba at Pirates is something that is a big problem for any player. You have to remember that his contract is coming to an end in June, so he didn’t want to sign because he feels that his time with Pirates is over.

“There are lots of things that happened at the club, and some things are just too personal that they just can’t be shared. But, we hear about Sweden a lot, that is where he might end up because apparently he has been approached already.

“So, it is just a matter of him and that club to make  things formal with his representatives. But I don’t think that is the only promising deal he has, I know there are also local teams that want to sign him.

“There is a big chance that he might remain in the country, so we will see how things unfold for him. As a person, I feel for him because I think he is someone who deserves to be playing regularly.”

Pirates are however said to have exercised their option to renew Mhango’s contract which adds another year to his current deal.
