Ntseki looks to improve Chiefs with every game

“The next game is more important than our last game. That is the attitude we are carrying and that we are populating in the team," says Ntseki.

Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for their next game, and coach Molefi Ntseki is determined to see improvement.

Despite facing criticism, Ntseki emphasises that dwelling on the past game is unproductive.

Instead, their primary focus should be on delivering a better performance in their upcoming DStv Premiership match against Sekhukhune United.

In a conversation with the club’s website, Ntseki expressed his unwavering commitment to achieving better results.

The stage is set at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, with kickoff scheduled for 7.30 pm on Wednesday.

Ntseki’s words carry the message that Chiefs are determined to rise above recent setbacks and showcase their potential in the upcoming match.

Chiefs lost to Mamelodi Sundowns in an MTN8 semi finals second leg last weekend, and are now setting their sights on the league.

“The most important thing for us is our thoughts going into the next game,” said Ntseki.

“We can’t be thinking too much about the last game. The last game has little role to play in terms of our preparations for the next game.

“The thoughts are more about the next game, the mentality, the attitude, the approach and the psyche.

“The next game is more important than our last game. That is the attitude we are carrying and that we are populating in the team.”

Having last won a match in August, Chiefs will look to close September, a month that’s proved to be difficult for them with a win.

Ntseki admits Sekhukhune are no easy meat

But Ntseki knows it will not be easy with Sekhukhune hoping to continue their great run against the Soweto giants.

“It’s a tough one,” admitted Ntseki. “Sekhukhune, when you look at the games they’ve been playing leading into this one, they have been doing very well.

“They are very consistent in terms of their performances. The most important thing is us improving in every game that we play…
