Twala flirting with a Maritzburg loan move – agent

Phakaaathi has learnt that out-of-favour Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala could be loaned out to KwaZulu-Natal outfit Maritzburg United.

Twala was said to be part of a swap deal that would see him join Baroka FC while Amakhosi secure the services of highly rated midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase. However, that proposed deal has seemingly failed to materialise.

“He [Twala] was once considered for that but as I understand it has fallen through,” his agent, Tim Sukazi, told Phakaaathi.

“Players need to play, everyone is looking for game time, and he is no exception to that,” Sukazi added.

The 27-year-old winger has only featured six times for the Glamour Boys this season.

“We have been talking to Maritzburg potentially on a loan basis, and that is still under consideration. It sounds promising, but we will see whether it will happen,” Sukazi revealed.
