Zulu looking to help Sekhukhune climb up log table

"I am sure that a lot of good things are coming," said Zulu.

New Sekhukhune United signing Philani Zulu says looking at the talent at the club, it’s surprising that Babina Noko find themselves in the current position in the DStv Premiership log.

Sekhukhune find themselves sitting in position 15 on the log after collecting only 11 points in 12 league games.

Zulu believes that the Limpopo-based club will move up the log.

“I have been with the team for about two weeks now, and I would like to thank the players and the technical staff for the way they welcomed me, I felt at home from the first day I arrived. Coming to a club like this, where the players are getting along well together, it just brings more spirit,” said the left-back.

“Now that I am part of the team, I will try my best to add as much value as I possibly can to make sure that I pull along with the team. It is going to take time to learn the culture of the team, but I am ready as a player. Looking at the quality that the team has, it is much more of a surprise to see that they are in this position that they are in.”

Zulu, who is a former Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu FC player, has urged the club supporters to rally behind the team.

“The way things are going so far with the preparations for the season I am sure that a lot of good things are coming. To the supporters, I would like to say that I feel welcome and I would like to encourage you guys to keep on supporting the team, because we need your support and you play an important role in getting the team in better positions and winning as many games as possible,” he added.
