South Africa are heavily fancied to continue their storming start to World Cup qualification when they play Ethiopia for a second time in three days at Soccer City this evening. More details at www.soccer6.co.za
M1 Congo vs Togo: The two countries played out a 1-1 draw in Togo on Saturday and are still to win a group game and fallen too far behind leaders Senegal, who look set to take Group H of the Africa World Cup qualifiers.
M2 Oman vs Vietnam: After an upset win in Japan, Oman have lost two successive World Cup qualifiers. Vietnam have lost all four and sit at the bottom of the group.
M3 South Africa vs Ethiopia: Bafana Bafana have the psychological advantage of beating Ethiopia away on Saturday and can now inch closer to winning their World Cup qualifying group if they are successful again, this time at Soccer City.
M4 United Arab Emirates vs Iraq: Both countries, who both have Dutch coaches, have yet to win in their three Asian final round qualifying Group A but are still in World Cup contention. UAE lost at home to Japan last Thursday.
M5 Saudi Arabia vs China PR: Saudi Arabia have a 100% record after three games of Asian Group B while China have lost two of three. China beat the Saudis in their last meeting in April at the Asian Cup finals.
M6 Bulgaria vs Northern Ireland: Bulgaria are unbeaten in their last four clashes with Northern Ireland, winning three. Both countries were beaten at the weekend.
M7 England vs Hungary: England beat Hungary 4-0 away last month and have not lost to them in 11 past clashes, stretching back almost 60 years.
M8 Faroe Islands vs Scotland: The Faroes have lost three of their last four home matches. Scotland are second in their World Cup group and need to win to stay in the qualifying race.
M9 Lithuania vs Switzerland: Lithuania vs Switzerland: Lithuania won at home for the first time in 12 months when they beat Bulgaria on Saturday. The Swiss can join Italy at the top of the World Cup qualifying group standings if they win this one.
M10 Guinea vs Morocco: This match was postponed from last month because of the coup d’etat in Guinea and has now been moved to Morocco, giving them a chance to make sure they win the World Cup qualifying group.
