Dineo Ranaka to host new music show
Television personality Dineo Ranaka will be hosting a new music show called MVP (Music Video Play) Jam together with DJ Mulo (Nhlamulo Hlungwani).

Ranaka was previously the host of Club 808 and left abruptly mid-season. Shortly after, she presented Mzansi Magic’s All Access Mzansi together with Nandi Mngoma and Proverb (Tebogo Thekisho).
More recently she’s been focused on growing her fashion label and her reality show, Dineo’s Diary. The show, which will premiere on e.tv on November 4, is “a unique jam session of karaoke, pop quiz and dance,” the channel explained in a statement.
“It’s built around the ultimate pop quiz where two teams of friends go head-to-head to compete for the ultimate MVP Jam Experience.”
“We decided to find formats that zoom into the lifestyles of our young South Africans,” said Monde Twala MD e.tv Channels Division.
“This high-energy show brings the pre-weekend party to the viewer’s home. Everyone gets to be a VIP in their personal space. The MVP Jam show format directly speaks to the inquisitive mind of our youth through the quiz games, style, music and dance,” he said.
