Flabba’s murder case postponed

The case against Flabba's murder-accused girlfriend has been transferred to the High Court sitting in Randburg.


Magistrate Gideon Schnetler on Wednesday remanded the at the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court. Manqele will stand trial between 17th and 28th August and was granted an extended bail.

Manqele’s defence Amanda Vilakazi confirmed the investigations were complete. Vilakazi said there were no witnesses on her side so far. “…will come back to state if any,” she said.

Habedi, a member of hip-hop group Skwatta Kamp, was stabbed to death at his home in Alexandra in February. The popular musician was stabbed on the chest. Manqele, 26, has claimed she killed Habedi in self-defence.
