From wedding bells to broken vows − Phelo Bala opens up about his marriage to Moshe Ndiki

The couple parted ways after two years of marriage.

Phelo Bala, a musician and one of the Bala brothers, candidly discussed his unsuccessful union with Moshe Ndiki, the presenter of You Promised to Marry Me.

In 2019, the pair sealed their love with a wedding, but unfortunately after two years, their marriage came to an end.

In an episode of The Bala Family, during his personal reflection time, Phelo openly expressed his feelings towards his former partner and shared his aspiration to marry again in the future.

Furthermore, he revealed that he had already moved on and was eagerly awaiting the paperwork for their divorce.

“I can’t have this thing on my finger and continue with my life. I am heartbroken and hurt it didn’t work out. I really did love him and I still do.

“All he could’ve said was Phelo I love you, Phelo I need you to stay, that’s all and maybe things could’ve turned out differently but those words and all that stuff, I never got them,” said Phelo.

While the future may currently appear uncertain, Phelo remains confident that he will soon discover his genuine soulmate.

“I feel like I’m going to find somebody who is going to protect me, who’s going to love me, not somebody who is going to throw a black plastic bag in your face in front of your friends and say you must leave his house,” added the musician.

New chapter for Moshe Ndiki

In a 2022 interview with Isolezwe, Moshe verified the end of their relationship. Phelo and Moshe were married for a span of two years, yet their frequent negative media coverage remained a prominent feature.

Like Phelo, Moshe does not plan to be a loner for the rest of his life. He is also on the lookout for his next soulmate.

“As a person who was previously married, I will get married again because I love marriage and love. The problem is not in love or marriage, it’s with people,” said Moshe in an interivew with Isolezwe.

Father to be

Continuing on the topic of both individuals moving forward in their lives, Moshe has taken a step ahead as he is about to become a father of two.

On 24 March 2023, the media personality shared exciting news with his fans on his Instagram that he is going to be a dad of twins.
