"My heart hasn’t felt so full in months."

Rachel Kolisi shared a heartwarming video showing Siya’s half siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, surprising her kids in France.

The video shows Nicholas Siyamthanda (8) and Keziah’s (6) cute reactions as they see Liyema and Liphelo.

“My heart hasn’t felt so full in months. Can’t begin to explain how rough it’s been being halfway across the world. Just so grateful,” Rachel wrote, captioning the video.

Siya adopted Liyema and Liphelo legally in 2012

Liphelo and Liyema had been staying in foster care after their mother died in 2009.

On one of the Mother’s Day tributes on Instagram, Siya said he wished Liyema and Liphelo got to spend more time with their mother.

“I feel for my siblings, who never got to spend as much time as I did with you, especially my sister. I love telling her all about you, but it still doesn’t do you justice. I love you. I hope we are making you happy and proud.

“Your smile and sense of humour always lit up the room. Your love and kindness just filled my heart! I’ll never forget when you used to parade me around when I had my school uniform and telling everyone unmntanam ufunda etown and uyakhumsha. I love you always Phakama,” he wrote.

Opening up about the adoption process to The Guardian, Siya said it took over a year.

“My little sister didn’t know me. She had been crawling when I last saw her. I told the woman taking care of them that I was going to take them for the December holidays that year, which I did. But afterward, I said I can’t send them back.

“I had to go through a legal process, which I started after that holiday. It took about 18 months, but I finally legally adopted them,” he told the publication.
