Big Brother Titans: Winner to go home with R1.7 million
Big Brother Titans will feature brand-new contestants from both Nigeria and South Africa and will start in January 2023.

The highly anticipated Big Brother Titans has a release date. DStv and their sponsors made the announcement on Friday during a press conference in Sandton.
After a successful season this year with Big Brother Mzansi a massive hit amongst locals and the wider African continent. On the hot heels of this, Multichoice was already planning another season this time with Big Brother Nigeria’s involvement.
Big Brother Titians
In October, Multichoice called on the public to enter the second-ever Big Brother Titians, two countries coming together to host one season of the reality show format.
Big Brother Titans will feature brand-new contestants from both Nigeria and South Africa. This has only ever occurred in Europe.
Executive head of programming: M-Net Channels Nomsa Philiso said they were excited to big this not only to Africa but to 46 other countries across the world.
Philiso said they had to come together in figuring out how to merge the two countries. The housemates who will be in this season have not but announced, however when asked if societal tensions between Nigeria and South Africa could be a problem, Philiso didn’t foresee this.
“We hope it showcases how people can get along.”
Sidwell Sipho Ngwenya a producer for Big Brother Mzansi added that it won’t necessarily be contestants coming from these two countries, however, these housemates are individuals “who just happen to be from Nigeria or South Africa but they have their own personalities.”

Multichoice will only announce the new housemates closer to the premiere of the season on 15 January 2023.
It has not been clarified as yet where the season’s house will be however it has been reported it is in South Africa
The Multichoice team did reiterate the housemates will be diverse and include those in the Queer community.
Big Brother Titans cash prize is $100 000 (R1.7 million).
As the presser was hosted by Lawerence Maleka he will wear his hat as host once again however he will be joined by Big Brother Naija’s Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, for Africa’s debut season.
Their main sponsor Lotto Star is back on board as a sponsor including Flutterwave, Bamboo, Nigerian Breweries, Pernod Ricard, Pepsi, Tolaram and Skechers.
Big BrotherTitans will premier on 15 January 2023 on DStv channel 198 at 8pm.
