Ntombezinhle Jiyane may have been involved in what she called a “terrible” accident on Sunday morning. Taking to Twitter, the DJ thanked the Durban metro police for being “incredibly helpful”, making sure she got home safe after the accident.
A big thank you to Durban Metro Police. They were incredibly helpful, they even made sure I got home safe after a terrible car accident.

Not to worry, though, because Zinhle seems to be fine. She posted beautiful pictures on Instagram on Monday morning of her and baby Kairo, who seems to be getting more adorable as she grows older. MaJiyane was in KwaZulu-Natal over the weekend for the Durban July and also played at Eyadini Lounge, along with Heavy K and Oskido, among others.
Also at the racing competition was her best friend Pearl Thusi, who dazzled in a short white number and rocked her natural Afro hair, a combination that worked well for her. What was more interesting, however, was a picture she posted on Instagram of her wearing a red watch, pretending to make the picture about the watch while there was a ring on her finger. We would not be surprised if Thusi got engaged and did not tell us; she wouldn’t be the first – but hopefully is the last.
Thusi also happened to have “bumped into” rumoured bae Robert Marawa and, we must say, the two do look good together. Though she made it sound like they did not go to the event together, her fans were having none of it. One follower called her a liar. One user “pyanaee” wrote: “Keep on bumping into each other, we like it…”
We agree, they should bump into each other more.
Is it also a coincidence that Thusi has been retweeting anything written about Robert Marawa’s sister Vanessa? We don’t know, but we think family support each other.
Anyway, we’re glad Zinhle is fine and congratulations to Pearl if she’s engaged. If not, well …
