CES 2020: High-tech gadgets to soup up your home bar

Beside futuristic concept cars, state-of-the-art smartphones and cutting-edge televisions, a considerable collection of gimmicky gadgets powered by intelligent technologies are on display at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show.
In the same place users can check out their future laptop, they can browse through smart appliances that will vamp up their home bars.
Over the years, smart robotic bartenders and cocktail-making appliances have proven to be successful attractions for CES visitors. For the 2020 rendition of the conference, the trend continues.
The following is a handful of the high-tech devices that will help keep your beer cold, your wine chilled and your cocktails customised.
Albicchiere

Albicchiere is a smart, connected dispenser that can preserve wine for up to six months after opening.
The device can be connected to the Google Assistant or Alexa and can be further controlled by a complementary app that allows owners to “Set your taste preferences or follow the producer’s recommendations, so you have the perfect glass of wine every time”.
While Albicchiere won a CES Innovation Award, it is not yet a purchasable product. The company states that it will be coming to Kickstarter soon.
Samsung Cube Collection Refrigerators

Over the weekend, Samsung unveiled a trio of stackable cube-shaped fridges — titled Beer, Wine and Beauty — in Las Vegas designed to keep various alcoholic beverages chilled and beauty-related products fresh.
The release date and pricing of the Cube Collection Refrigerators have not yet been announced.
Bartesian

Bartesian is an intelligent cocktail maker that uses insertable capsules to create drinks ranging from mocktails to strong cocktails.
The countertop appliance will recommend glassware based on which capsule was selected, and then users can use the digital touchscreen to customise their drink. The Bartesian is available now for $349.99 (R4,995)
All products will be on display at CES which officially opened to the public Tuesday and closes on January 10.
