Special morning for moms and daughters

Mothers with daughters at Curro School took time out of their busy week to enjoy a morning together this past weekend. They were treated to delicious eats, entertainment by two well-known artists and a delightful fashion show.

Deputy headmaster, George van Rensburg, said the special morning was a chance for moms and daughters to spend some quality time together. Everybody received a gift from Mopani pharmacy and could also do a bit of shopping while waiting for the show to start. Annelize Habig, from AMH Photography, set up a photo booth and captured memories of the event. What a great way to remember the day.

Karlien van Niekerk and Vasti (a popular attraction at Innibos festival) kick-started the entertainment and then scholars from the primary and higher grades had great fun dancing on the stage while showcasing the latest in teen fashions.

It’s the second year in a row that Curro School has held a special morning for moms and daughters. It looks like it’ll be a firm fixture on the school calendar for years to come.
