
The trailer, or any other vehicle being towed, and the road behind, should also always be visible to the driver. Extra side mirrors may be needed that extend to give a good view. Another very important thing to take into account is the balance point and loading of the trailer. This video clearly illustrates how an improperly balanced trailer with too mach weight at the back can swerve out of control.
