Stolen vehicles are recovered

On Monday morning two suspects, a 31-year-old male and 30 year-old female, briefly appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court on charges of the possession of stolen vehicles.

TONGA – On Monday morning two suspects, a 31-year-old male and 30 year-old female, briefly appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court on charges of the possession of stolen vehicles.

The case was postponed to March 19, and at the time of going to press this publication was unable to cover court proceedings.

Police received information on suspicious-looking vehicles at the home of one of the suspects in Block C Phakama section. They swiftly responded and found two Toyota Hilux double-cabs parked on the premises. Both vehicles were stolen at Linden and Mondeor this month and the suspects ware arrested at the scene.

A Toyota Hilux and a Nissan 1400 bakkie were also found abandoned in vegetation at Dludluma.
