Human trafficking case opened after rescue of foreign woman

There is still debate on if she is an American or a British citizen, but police have confirmed she is not a South African.

NELSPRUIT – Hawks have opened a human trafficking case in regards to a foreign woman who was rescued by a local family.   This after Ms Anna Kreller (26) was detained by police for being an illegal immigrant.

There is still debate on if she is an American or a British citizen, but police have confirmed she is not a South African.

Kreller was apparently rescued after seven years of captivity on Wednesday by a man that requested Lowvelder to identify him only as Leon.

Lowvelder also has uncovered another apparent trafficking case involving a South African woman who was kidnapped and escaped a container with other women in it in Margate.
