Barberton police spokesman, Const Tutu Nkosi, said the dagga and the vehicle the men were travelling in were in police possession.
She said Jabulani and Dhlamini were arrested following a tip-off from the public. “Police received information that men travelling in a white Mercedes-Benz with the registration number, ESD008AH were loading a bucket full of dagga at Ext 11 in Emjindini. Upon receiving the information, police went to investigate. The suspects were arrested on the scene.”

The dagga weighed 4,08kg and was estimated to have a street value of R25 000.
Nkosi thanked the members for adhering to the public’s whistle-blowing and stopping the suspects in their tracks.
