Numerous poaching accused in court this week

Four poaching cases were brought before the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court this week. The accused appeared briefly for postponements of their cases.

MBOMBELA – Four cases against alleged rhino poachers were postponed in the Nelspruit Regional Court this week.

The accused include policemen, SANPark employees and the men who allegedly killed the rhino calf named Sabi, who was brought to Care for Wild Africa after his mother was poached in Sabi Sands in 2013.

Messrs Thokozane Jabulane Ngwenya, Kenneth Alex Mthombothi, Promise Mandla Lamula, Mthobisi Lenox Ngwenyama and Russel Mokoena, who allegedly poached Sabi, will appear in court again on March 11.
