MBOMBELA – Shocking testimony was delivered by state witnesses in the case against a man and a woman accused of raping and assaulting the attendants of their initiation school.

  • “Girls who attend initiation schools generally want to have their faces burnt by a heated whistle and do not wear underwear for the duration of the initiation period.” – Guardian of one of the minors who had allegedly been sexually assaulted while attending the initiation school.  This guardian led further testimony about the general practices that are accepted in initiation schools.
