STEELPOORT – A pregnant driver was injured during an accident involving a truck on the Sekhukhune road this morning. She has been transported to Middelburg Hospital for treatment. Traffic was brought to a stand still and the two lanes were closed while emergency services attended to the scene.

According to witnesses the truck driver was attempting to turn when the accident occurred. “The driver had already turned but the last section of the truck was left on the road and that is when the car smashed into the back tyres of the truck.” Read more in the next edition of Steelburger/Lydenburg News.
