No violence after hearing
Remember we are also community members and are affected by this, but we also represent the law and need to uphold the law at all times. So we are by all means going to oppose the bail of the suspects

TONGA – Last Wednesday the case of the four people accused of the kidnapping of a three-year-old girl was postponed yet again in the Tonga Magistrate’s Court.
However, this appearance was without any violence like during the previous ones which resulted in the assault of the legal representative of two of the suspects, Mr Nico du Plessis.
Lutricia Nkentjane (3) went missing on November 29. Her kidnappers are also facing murder charges.
There is, however, still is no evidence to support the murder claim because Nkentjane is still missing.
The violence which had erupted in Mbuzin and Mgobodzi because of this case, has since stopped.
Police spokesman at Tonga, Lt Mzwandile Nyambi, has appreciated the community’s effort to work with the police.
“If we don’t work with the community as the SAPS, nothing will be accomplished.
“Remember we are also community members and are affected by this, but we also represent the law and need to uphold the law at all times. So we are by all means going to oppose the bail of the suspects,” Nyambi said.
