Mother's Day is one of the most celebrated events of the year.
LYDENBURG – Mother’s Day is one of the most celebrated events of the year. On this special occasion, mothers, grandmothers, people who play the role of a mother- both young and old – are celebrated all over the world.
Mother’s Day is observed on the second Sunday in May. On Saturday May 7 Rusoord old-age home celebrated the day with a special lunch in honour of all the amazing mothers living there.
Their loved ones attended it, shared a meal and socialised. This annual event bring families together and they have a chance to celebrate maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in the community.
