Numbi Primary’s land service group had an outing on May 24 where the pupils had the opportunity to work with their hands.

They made their own catapults and tested for the best one by shooting peppermints as far as they could, an activity that provided a lot of fun.

Numbi Primary’s land service movement started in 2014. This year the club already has 130 members.

The land service movement follows the motto of love of God, love for their fellow man and love of nature.

It aims to equip the South African youth with skills to deal with the challenges and problems they face on a day-to-day basis and develop their talents and spirituality.
