Nellies Care empowers youth

The motivational speakers were given the opportunity to talk to more than 500 girls in the 14 to 19-year age group.

Last Tuesday, Lentsa Motau from Nellies Care, together with Dumisane Chauke, newly appointed South African netball coach, reached out to Sicelo Sethu Secondary School, Mandlesive Secondary School and Malekutu Primary School.

The motivational speakers were given the opportunity to talk to more than 500 girls in the 14 to 19-year age group. They encouraged the learners to study hard and to use their talents.

At Malekutu Primary School, 41 u/12 and u/13 girls and 16 coaches attended the netball coaching clinic.

Three Hoërskool Nelspruit (NHS) learners, Jana Ingwersen, Saartjie Breytenbach and Michané Breedt, also assisted Motau and interacted with the girls. “The clinic was not only aimed at coaching the girls, but their coaches as well,” said Chauke.
