Pivot Pro is your solution to water harvesting

Pivot Pro is revolutionising the rainwater industry with an array of unique, quality products and specialised expertise in all things to do with rainwater and waterproofing.

The gutter and rainwater specialist realised that with South Africa being a water-scarce country, there was a huge market for water harvesting and waterproofing and has since created various products and systems for all its customers’ rainwater needs with its unrivalled expertise.

Pivot Pro first opened its doors in June 2020 and was founded by father and son, Johann and Dirk van Schalkwyk. It offers a once-off solution to gutters, leaking roofs and provides innovative easy ways to harvest rainwater. One of the most exciting and innovative products is the tip gutter, which is the first of its kind in the world.

Designed and made in Mbombela by Johann following five years of careful research and development, the unique tilting gutter is easy to use and completely eradicates the need to climb up onto roofs or hire someone to clean the gutters.

Taking a holistic “build-for-purpose” approach to all products and services, the tip gutter works hand-in-hand with its water harvesting systems, providing clean water to a customer’s water tanks. Using underground piping to install the system, Pivot Pro offers neat and tidy solutions to harvesting water as well as an overall more aesthetically pleasing system. The team also offers tinting gutters to their customer’s colour of choice.

The family-run business also provides various products for waterproofing, saying, “From the foundation of your home to the roof, we have a product for all your waterproofing needs, whatever they may be”.

Pivot Pro offers a long-term solution to protecting one’s home or business from any issues relating to water with its waterproofing products. Pivot Pro has welcomed architects, builders and members of the public to visit its showroom and discuss its unique products.

It has already completed several gutter installations and total waterproofing for various houses and companies in Mbombela, Lydenburg, Ermelo and even the North West. Although new, Pivot Pro has received many national requests and has therefore began the process of franchising the business, hoping to launch stores in Gauteng soon.

Be sure to catch Pivot Pro on KykNET, Ontbytsake on September 11 to learn more about it. Or for a more personalised experience, the team will be hosting an open day at the showroom on September 9 where people can have a coffee while they explore Pivot Pro’s products and engage with the experts directly.
