Waterberry Hill Resort in Hazyview to be converted into a secure residential estate

Realty Arena will be auctioning the gold crown resort, Waterberry Hill, on-site on October 30 at 12:00.

Dean Garzancich of Realty Arena said to avoid disappointment, those interested should provisionally purchase their individual fully furnished units from R712 000, prior to the auction. This popular resort is situated on the Kiepersol Road, six kilometres from Hazyview and 30 kilometres from White River, and it is an easy 20-minute drive to Kruger National Park’s Phabeni Gate from there.

Waterberry Hill Share Block has 48 luxury self-catering colonial styled chalets measuring 77 square metres and 89 square metres, of which 24 have their own private open-air jacuzzi spa pools. Other improvements on-site include a reception area, a manager’s house and staff accommodation, a putt-putt course and tennis courts, a swimming pool, a children’s play area and a boma with ablutions.

These are surrounded by manicured gardens, trees and indigenous bush, all on about 28 hectares of land full of birdlife.

There are three golf courses within a five-kilometre radius of Hazyview, and the resort is close to popular Lowveld attractions such as the Kruger National Park, God’s Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon. There are restaurants and day drives within easy reach and the property is securely fenced.

Garzancich said Waterberry Hill’s location and luxurious improvements lend itself to permanent residences or an investment opportunity, with a number of the units already benefiting from monthly rentals.
