Monthly farmers’ market brings in many visitors
The monthly farmers' market at Elephant Whispers was held on Saturday morning, February 26.
Locals and visitors perused the local sellers’ stalls as the market started at 09:00 and ended at 13:00, but the organisers had to be flexible with closing time as many curious visitors crowded the area.

The stalls were packed with crafts, food and drinks. Live music filled the market grounds with atmosphere as people supported the sellers.
“The number of people who attended this weekend’s market left us in awe, and we could not have been more grateful of the support. With the fun everyone had, the remaining worries about Covid almost seemed non-existing,” said Marlene Howie, the organiser of Perry’s Farm Market.

The farmers’ market is usually on every last Saturday of the month, but as special holidays and events arise, more markets like this will be held in Hazyview.
