BREAKING NEWS: SA cop nabbed for cocaine in Brazil

What appears to be a SAPS member was on her way to board a flight to South Africa.

SÃO PAULO – A woman who appears to be a SAPS member has been busted with cocaine at the city’s Guarulhos Airport.

A department of international relations and co-operation spokesman has been unable to confirm the incident, but a police source confirmed it.

The woman, who cannot be named untill she has appeared in court, had police identification on her.

According to the source, she was carrying six bricks of cocaine, and on her way to board a flight to South Africa.

SAPS spokesman Brig Vishnu Naidoo told the newspaper earlier today that he was unable to comment as they had not made the arrest, and he still had to be informed by Brazilian authorities.
