Missing person: Help SAPS reunite Mokopole Sekgobela with his family

The 20-year-old went missing in an area where he does not have any friends on Monday, December 23.

The Bushbuckridge police request the public’s assistance to reunite Mokopole Sekgobela with his family.

According to the family, their 20-year-old son lives in Jane Furse, but had gone to Bushbuckridge for the holidays. He was last seen on December 23 when he left home for a car wash in Shatale. He never came back and has been missing since.

The family became worried when he failed to return home by 20:00 that night. They started looking for him at the car wash, but were told he had proceeded to the stadium. However, he was not found there either.

The family tried to contact Mokopole’s father in Jane Furse, but was unable to reach him. Mokopole does not have friends in Bushbuckridge and did not have a cellphone in his possession. It is also unknown what clothes he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

The police urge anyone with information to contact Detective Warrant Officer Nicole Setwane on 079 391 9384 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or to use the My SAPS mobile app. All information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
