BREAKING: Two people killed in separate accidents near Hazyview this morning

MBOMBELA – The first accident occurred when a male driver was killed instantly this morning when the bakkie he was driving in collided into the back of a truck. Van Wetten’s  Breakdown Services’ Willem Swart said the bakkie, which was coming from the direction of Hazyview, collided into the back of the truck and then veered off the road into the trees. The passenger was taken to the nearest hospital by emergency services.

Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s Zandile Mandlazi said another accident happened on the R536 Road towards Kruger Gate at about 5:30 . “A Corsa bakkie lost control and overturned. The driver, who is a male, died on scene and the passenger who is also a male sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Matikwane Hospital.”
