It is held once a month and the location is always a secret. It is only announced to ticket holders by email 48 hours beforehand.

The secret sunrise dance for Madiba took place on Saturday at Mbombela Soccer Ball. This is a guided dance workout with wireless headphones which celebrates the sun.
People gather outdoors in the early morning to dance for an hour. It is held once a month and the location is always a secret.
It is only announced to ticket holders by email 48 hours beforehand. When they arrive at the designated spot they receive wireless headphones and a yoga mat.
From a distance, it looks like a silent dance party. The theme for the day was freedom/rainbow nation outfits.
Tash Cope, one of the dancing instructors and organisers, said that everyone is welcome to this exciting event.
“There were 11 secret sunrise dance events held in honour of Mandela nationwide. There were five in South Africa and six abroad.”
The next event will be held in Hazyview on August 18. As always, the location will be revealed only to those who will attend.
