Town Lodge Mbombela spoils children on International Chef’s Day

Town Lodge Mbombela hosted a party for kids from Bettie's Haven in celebration of International Chef’s Day on October 20.

The day brought with it a party filled with balloons, swimming and happy children having a ball on the jumping castle.

The children were spoiled with chicken, sponsored by RCL Foods, boerewors, rolls, rice, sponsored by Tiger Brands, and tomato-and-onion mix, juice and muffins that were sponsored by Rhodes Foods.

This was prepared by City Lodge Hotel Group chef Trevor Boyd who journeyed all the way from Gauteng to cook and make a difference in the children’s lives. To top it off they were treated to sweets from Diplomat and strawberry cheesecake from Chateau Gateau. South Bee Tours fetched the children from Bettie’s Haven and returned them back home after the event.

Boyd thanked everyone who had been involved to make the day possible.
