IN PHOTOS: Mbombela wine lovers enjoy wine and food show

The wine show featured over 25 luxurious wine brands which locals could taste.

With over 25 of South Africa’s best wine estates present, the Un-wined Lowveld Food and Wine Show delivered a taste of elegance to the Lowveld in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere.

The show was hosted at Mbombela Golf Club on September 30 by Events Africa and Varietals, in partnership with Zest Restaurant and Mbombela Golf Club.

There was a unique range of wines for every taste bud. Gourmet food which paired well with the wines was prepared by local chefs.

Wine enthusiasts in the Lowveld and surrounds could not wait to visit the stalls to taste the wines while enjoying the live music from Stix Dumisa and a Mbombela band, The House, who performed some of South Africa’s best soulful and jazzy hits.

Rika Venter of Events Africa said the show attracted 200 patrons who popped by the golf club to experience the wines, food and entertainment.
