UPDATE | Three suffer minor injuries in four-vehicle accident in White River

Tom Lawrence Street in White River has been reopened for traffic after an accident that involved four vehicles saw three people injured.

The spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi, said there were no fatalities in the accident involving four cars in Tom Lawrence Street in White River today, May 20, at about 07:08. Three people were only slightly injured.

“It is still unclear what had caused the accident and an investigation will be conducted. I would like to urge motorists to always drive with caution and be patient with one another on the road. When they are tired, they must rest to avoid an accident,” he said.

Mmusi also said the road has been cleared and is open for traffic.
