Lanie Rischmüller, a dynamic South African country singer, voice actor and creative entrepreneur, is making waves in the music and arts scene.
Originally from Pretoria, Lanie’s career took off as a flight attendant, allowing her to explore the world and cultivate a rich tapestry of experiences. These adventures later led her to explore the realms of beauty, graphic design and art, eventually culminating in the launch of her own online store featuring handmade creations.
In 2024, at the age of 38, Lanie embarked on her music career, capturing hearts with her unique renditions of cover songs. Inspired by her husband, renowned singer-songwriter Pieter Rischmüller, she embraced her passion for art and country music, expressing her inner country girl through her soulful voice.

Her captivating social media videos quickly garnered a substantial following, leading to international recognition from platforms like Netflix and Broadway in New York.
Lanie’s rise to fame was cemented when she won the Newcomer of the Year Award at the South African Country Awards in 2024.
Her voice is featuring in Broadway productions from August 2024 to March 2025, with her debut album of original country music set for release in April. Beyond music, Lanie is also an independent author, with the first instalment of her eight-part children’s book series released in December.
Now residing in Mbombela, Lanie continues to inspire and uplift women and children through various projects aimed at fostering growth and empowerment.
