If you’d like to know what you can do for 67 minutes, here are a few projects you can get involved in.

  • Pro Life Pet Rescue is inviting locals to spoil their rescued pets at the sanctuary for 67 minutes during office hours, or make a R67 donation or any other donation. You can donate pet food, toys or cleaning products. You can even walk a dog or bring your kids along to play with the puppies or kittens.
  • Mbombela Hospice invites you to help sort and pack donations at their store during the day. You can help sort through clothes and second-hand items.
  • The Mbombela SPCA is running a campaign from July 18 to September 1, in which locals can sponsor pet microchips for just R67. You can also help raise R67 000 for outreaches in the community, and in return the SPCA will give up to 67 free sterilisations, depending on the total amount raised.
  • iSecure will have a blood drive at Valencia Wholesalers during the day. Lowvelders can donate blood.
