Dogs barked and cats meowed with excitement as donors delivered pet food, beds, toys and blankets to the SPCA Nelspruit on Mandela Day.

Lowvelder, Stewarts & Lloyds and Chery collected and handed over 1 210kg of dog food, 72kg cat food, 100kg cat litter, 50 blankets and pet beds, poop scoops, water bowls, leashes, puppy milk and rolls of paper.

Many of the donations were contributed by Prime Pet, Avis Fleet Solutions, Alzu Feeds, Westend Pet Food Café, Chery Mbombela, Flo-Tek, Q&H, Roar Construction, Steel Brothers and Lowvelder staff.

The SPCA inspector, Michelle Steyn, accepted the donations with open arms and expressed the organisation’s heartfelt gratitude for the generosity.
